After a long and donut-filled process, we here at IPL headquarters have finally wiped the powdered sugar off our shirts and finalized the Judge Test VII!

WHY IS THIS

We are in desperate need of more judges, which I'm sure you've all noticed from the battles still in judgement from last month. We're all working hard to bring you delicious, jam-filled critique, but we can always (ALWAYS) use more help! If you think you can handle the work flow and responsibility of a judge, we want you to join us!

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME

If you join as a judge you will be rewarded with some perks! Such perks will soon be implemented and include prioritized judging for your own battles, double points for submissions, and the chance to be in a judge feature in IPL Magazine! You will also be able to use the experience of judging to grow as an artist yourself, as it teaches you how to analyze art, and recognize flaws and how to fix them. You will also have access to our Admin Area and Group Notes, so you can help out with questions or just spy on us!

WHAT WILL I HAVE TO DO

Every week or so you will be given 1 battle to judge. You need to write critique on the provided battles and tell us who you think has won. That's it! If you look at this journal it will tell you what you need to be looking at, and if you ever have any problems you can talk to us admins and we'll help you out! You have a whole week to complete a verdict, and if you don't have the time you can just let us know and we'll reassign it. You must finish it before the deadline, however, or it will be reassigned automatically and we will all be frowny face.



We are also in desperate need (Even more so) of artists for the art commissions! Every now and then someone wants to join IPL who either can't draw well enough, or can't draw at all, and therefore can't complete the trainer card needed to join! Thus we have the Art Commission Form, so they can contact us and let us know they need an artist. Those who are volunteering their time for this task has dwindled to 3, however, and 3 is not enough. We need YOU to join us in helping members with their character art!

WHAT WILL I NEED TO DO

We get a request quite rarely, so it is very common for our volunteer artists to not receive anything for months, but on the rare occasion we might get 5 at once, and we need more artists to help us out. We need someone that's planning to stick around long enough and has the time to get the trainer card drawn within 2 weeks (which is pretty easy, really). You don't have to be a master artist, you just need to be able to draw. You also need to be on DA regularly so you can see any notes we send you regarding it, as they need to be completed as promptly as possible.

WHAT WILL I GET

We can't offer anything for this perk-wise, but it would be a chance to help out your admins and fellow group members! It will also be good practice for drawing different characters and Pokemon. The more people that sign up, the less often you'll be summoned for a commission.


We hope to get many applications! There is a position for everyone good enough to be a judge and/or volunteer artist!
